Extending upstream from Llangurig bridge for approximately 3.7kms is the Upper Clochfaen beat. Much of this stretch is easy wading and very open with little to snag your back cast.

Fished best in June
onwards. Best trout a very impressive 18". Has produced grayling
to 2lbs in previous years.
Ideally fished with:
7.5 to 8.5ft, 2 to
5wt rod.
