The Rivers Lugg and Arrow. Beats 28-39

The Lugg and Arrow system provides some of the most exclusive fishing in the Wye catchment. Both rivers begin life in the heart of the Radnorshire Forest, flowing in an easterly direction to begin with. The Lugg is joined by the Arrow just south of Leominster, before continuing south to the confluence with the main Wye, a few miles downstream of Hereford. Both rivers are host to an array of wildlife including otters, kingfisher and dippers.
There are two projects running on the Lugg and Arrow - please see HERE
For 2007 the Passport’s Lugg and Arrow fishing offers you twelve beats to try on these two wonderful rivers. Beats 32 to 39 all provide exciting brown trout fishing while the Court of Noke, Arrow Mill and Monkland beats on the Arrow and the Lugg at Presteigne also have populations of grayling. Beats 28 to 31 on the Lugg are the first of the Roving Voucher coarse fisheries.
