The Hindwell Brook is a wild trout stream that gently meanders in a westerly direction from its origins in the Radnor Forest to join the river Lugg just below Presteigne. Being spring fed, the river keeps a good flow throughout the summer months. The 3.5km Knill Beat runs for the most part over a gravel riverbed, making for relatively easy wading and access. B&B accommodation is available at Knill Farm - 01544 267 348.
