This 4km+ double bank stretch for the most part is relatively slow and meandering. The first few hundred metres is fairly overgrown although it does open out providing easily enough fishing for two people. It is characterised by some deep pools that usually hold the bigger fish. Expect some feisty wild brownies to give you a good tussle on light fly gear. Wading is necessary for some of the beat and is relatively easy.
