Beat 5 The Beulah Cammarch

Beulah CammarchVouchers - Adults 3/ Under 14s 2.
Wading difficulty: 4

Please note that this beat is only available from 3rd MARCH TO 30th JUNE (inc).

The Beulah Beat is where the Cammarch transforms from a wild mountain stream into a lowland river. Looking upstream, the first km is similar in character to the Lower Beat. The top 2kms is much faster, flowing through wooded, rocky terrain and is what we generally classify as upland stream fishing. The wading is a bit more difficult than the rest of the Cammarch because of the bedrock. This is, however, a beautiful, secluded stretch of river, holding some decent size wild brownies. It has also benefited from recent Foundation coppicing work.
