Beat 8 - The Llandewi'r Cwm Beat

Llandewi'r CwmVouchers - Adults 3/ Under 14s 2.
Wading difficulty: 2-4

Fishing up through the steep Duhonw valley (Llandewi’r Cwm translates as ‘Church of St.David in the narrow valley), the beat is actually some of the remotest of the Voucher fishing, despite being only a few minutes drive from Builth Wells. Plenty of large trout were seen going over the fish pass in November 05. With the ever-improving habitat of the Duhonw since the Foundation completed work in 2004, it is likely a few have re-mained. Expect pugnacious brownies that give a good tussle on light gear.
