The Arrow, like the river Lugg, rises in the Radnorshire Forest and flows in an easterly direction, joining the Lugg just downstream of Leominster. It is predomiantly a wild brown trout river, although some good sized grayling are present to just upstream of Pembridge. As with the Lugg, it is one of the more leisurely paced Wye tributaries.
