The Rivers Lugg & Arrow - Beats 19 to 29

A fine River Arrow trout

Both rivers begin life in the heart of the Radnorshire Forest, flowing in an easterly direction to begin with. The Lugg is joined by the Arrow just south of Leominster, before continuing south to the confluence with the main Wye, a few miles downstream of Hereford.

The Roving Voucher scheme offers you eleven beats to try on these two wonderful rivers. All provide exciting brown trout fishing while the Court of Noke, Eardisland, Arrow Mill and Monkland beats on the Arrow and the Middlemoor beat of the Lugg also have populations of grayling. Please note that the lower Lugg fisheries Of Bodenham, Dinmore and Luggsbridge are now part of the Booking Office. Those anglers arriving on the Arrow or upper Lugg without vouchers can purchase them at Leen Farm in between Pembridge and Staunton-on-Arrow (see Beat R28). Leen Farm also has a campsite on the banks of the Arrow. (01544 388 305).
