Description
The Foundation has been granted access to this famous upper Wye beat for salmon and trout fishing, and for all its winter grayling and coarse fishing.
This is your chance to fish one of the most exclusive of waters on the upper Wye. Located a few miles downstream of Builth, the top half of the mile+ double bank beat is characterised by long gravel runs mixed with the occasional deep pool. The section downstream of the lodge is more bedrock dominated, with deep channels and gutters.
The Wye & Usk Foundation are fortunate again this season to have access to salmon and trout fishing for up to 4 rods at one of the upper Wye�s prime beats.(In October 2008, a party of 4 anglers caught 25 salmon to 24lbs in 3 days at Glanwye). All bookings will be subject to availability at one weeks notice, on a week to week basis.
One of the main attractions to bookings on this beat, is the use of all the facilities at the lodge during the day.
Aswell as day tickets there is the option to book short break lets from £350 per day, and week lets from £2100.00.
Prices include up to 4 salmon rods and accommodation in a delightful riverside Fishing Lodge for up to 6 people. (2 twin and 1 double bedroom). Ghillie available subject to requirements.
