Approximately 1 and a quarter miles of right bank fishing including the Shut pool and run at the top end, followed by the beautiful Swan pool, Pumping Station pool and Waterscross pool. The Home beat lies below the old mansion of Courtfield, where King Henry V lived as a boy of 8 under the care of Lady Margaret Montacute, the Countess of Salisbury, which lady's effigy can be seen in the eye catching Welsh Bicknor Church.

NOTE – This beat does require a walk of approximately half a mile to access the fishery so anglers are advised to travel light unless using the boat access from the Pumping Station located on the opposite bank just off the B4234.

Much more advice and information on fishing the Home beat can be found at the Lower Wye Fishing website.

Please note that by booking this beat you agree to WUF passing your name and contact details to the fishery owner who may get in touch with updates on fishery/river conditions. If you do not wish your details to be passed on, please contact us on 01874 712 074.
