The fishery comprises two pools located next to each other, situated in the picturesque Leadon Vale in Gloucestershire and accessed via a long track off a country lane. Both are hidden gems in the English Countryside. The middle pool varies in depth up to 20ft and with the gin clear water, stealth and patience are required to contact the carp, chub, tench and rudd that are present.

The upper pool (known as Lodge Pool) has a small group of carp up to 10lbs and some good size tench - along with a stock of crucian carp and a large shoal of rudd, this is a challenging fishery that, like its neighbour, requires stealth and patience. The water is crystal clear and varies in depths down to 8ft amongst the weed.

These are lovely waters to fish with comfortable access involving a 50 yard walk to the nearest point of the pool. Not really disabled access though.

Anglers will have Lodge Pool exclusively. Quabs Pool very occasionally has a club angler fishing but there is plenty of room. Quabs can also be popular with dog walkers and when very hot the odd swimmer.
