Description

Approximately � mile of single (left) bank fly fishing on the River Wye, 1 mile upstream of Builth Wells. The beat is well known for its salmon fishing, both with fly and spinner. As the name suggests, it is a spectacularly rocky stretch of water with numerous pools and runs. Very good trout and grayling fishing is also on offer.

Bank fishing is possible for many of the pools. However, when wading care must be taken as some of the pools are extremely deep. Studded soles, preferably also with felt, are required.
