Extending upstream from Llangurig Bridge for over two miles is the Upper Clochfaen beat. Much of this stretch is easy wading and very open with little to snag your back cast.

All year (grayling fishing
available from Oct 1st – March 2nd)
2010 Catches:
Although lightly fished there were some impressive catches with trout caught to 20", and grayling to 15". Fished best in July.
Ideally fished with:
7.5 to 8.5ft, 2 to
5wt rod.
Restrictions:
No dogs.
Catch & Release of all
species.
Anglers to move upstream only when fishing.
