Extending upstream from Llangurig Bridge for over two miles is the Upper Clochfaen beat. Much of this stretch is easy wading and very open with little to snag your back cast.

All year (grayling fishing
available from Oct 1st – March 2nd)
2009 Catches:
Grayling catches increased dramatically from previous years with catches of trout also up. Best months were July and August. Trout and grayling to 15".
Ideally fished with:
7.5 to 8.5ft, 2 to
5wt rod.
Restrictions:
No dogs.
Catch & Release of all
species.
Anglers to move upstream only when fishing.
