The lower beat starts at the confluence with the Llynfi itself, finishing 1 1/4 miles upstream at Tregunter Farm. Most of its length was coppiced in 2006. After a short, overgrown section of single (right) bank from the start up to beyond the caravan park, the beat opens out and is double bank fishing thereafter.

Trout caught to 14", with the odd grayling amongst reports. Best fished during May and June.
Ideally fished with:
6.5 to 7.5ft, 2 to 4wt rod.

Anglers to move upstream only when fishing.
