This stretch was coppiced by the Foundation in 2005 so, together with the comparatively easy wading, will provide enjoyable flyfishing for those seeking wild trout in a beautiful setting. This is a truly remote river, which offers approximately half a mile of double and single bank fishing.

Wild Brown Trout.
Chance of late season salmon or sea trout given sustained water.

Season:
March 3rd to 30th Sept (inc)

2008 Catches:
Fished best in May with best trout at 16"

Ideally fished with:
7 to 8ft, 3 to 4wt rod.

Restrictions:
No dogs
Fly fishing only
2 trout bag limit
Anglers to move upstream only when fishing.
