Latest News Autumn River Walk Monday 25th November, 2019 Thank you to everyone who came along on our Autumn Riverwalk on Sunday 24th November. We hope you enjoyed the day and found it informative. It is always difficult to predict what we are going to see each year. Luckily, water levels had dropped enough after the recent floods to allow us to see both spawning salmon and fish trying to ascend falls on a couple of upper Wye tributaries. You can just about make out a hen fish cutting her redd in the bottom centre of the photo above. We also saw spawned-out dead salmon, one of which had been half eaten by an otter, along with a few salmon and trout redds. The lunch at Builth Wells Golf Club was also superb!
