Education sessions

Education sessions offered to all age groups

Environmental education based on our vast experience delivering successful projects

At The Wye and Usk Foundation we offer education sessions to all age groups, building on more than 20 years of successfully delivering environmental conservation in strong partnerships. We have lots of experience helping people connect with their local environment at community events and by engaging with farmers to improve the environment.

Experienced and dedicated staff to help your students learn at affordable prices

For over 5 years, we have been delivering formal, curriculum-based environmental education sessions to schools across Mid Wales and Herefordshire. Since 2017, we have had a small dedicated education department with DBS-checked staff working hard to create new and exciting content. We are proud to say we reached more than 1100 children last year alone.

We have put all our experience into modules which are both accessible and affordable to you and your students: From our popular stream dips teaching children how to assess the health of their local stream based on presence of mini beasts to high level Geography and Water Chemistry sessions with Key Stage 4 – and many other exciting offers in between such as Water Workshops, The Salmon Game and even John Muir Awards.

Why not get in touch with us today?

Due to generous grants from our funders, we are almost always able to offer you these high-quality modules at a very low cost and we are often able to offer bespoke sessions upon request so please get in touch to discuss the options.
