River Stone (20 letters)

To celebrate 25 years of the Wye and Usk Foundation and your own connection with these two wonderful rivers, we are offering the opportunity to have a professionally engraved personalised River Stone placed into either river at selected locations.

A River Stone could be a gift for a loved one, something to bring you luck, to remember a loved one or celebrate a milestone. The reason is entirely yours and personal to you!

The specially selected stones will be collected from each river and sand-blasted with up to 20 letters/initials of your choice. You can then choose to have them returned to the river at one of the locations below. You will then receive a letter of confirmation, a photo of your stone being placed and a map showing its approximate location.

Choosing Your River Stone Location:

We can place your stone on the Wye at either Llangurig, Builth Wells, Hay-on-Wye or Ross on Wye. On the Usk we can place it at Brecon or Usk Town.

Which ever location you choose, a stone from that river will be selected for you by the Foundation to be engraved.

When purchasing a stone online, please list one of the above locations in the “additional delivery information” section of the checkout process.

Placement Dates:

We will place stones at the end of the following months: February, May, July or October. Your stone will be placed on the next date after it has returned from the engraver.

Choosing Your Lettering:

If you are ordering online please specify your required lettering and location in the ‘additional delivery information’ section on the checkout pages. You can have up to 20 letters or numbers for a £100 stone.
