Volunteer

The Foundation is given vital support by volunteers of all age groups for a number of activities such as:

  • Promotional events/shows
  • Fundraising
  • Redd counting
  • Assisting to organise other volunteers
  • Litter picking
  • Running a Riverfly group
  • Fishery maintenance
  • River walk/event volunteers
  • Controlling invasive weeds
  • River gauge maintenance
  • Telephone fishing advice
  • Translation
  • Photography and filming

Volunteering for many of the above activities is a very satisfying way of enjoying the outdoors and getting to know the rivers. If you are interested in voluntary work in any of the areas listed above please complete the following form to register with the Foundation.

Volunteer registration

We will then email when an opportunity arises that we think you will be interested in. When we are organising an event that we think might appeal to you, we will contact you to check your availability.

The Foundation provides equipment, Health & Safety and other training where required.

We are very grateful to all those who have given their valuable time in helping us to restore and protect the rivers.
