Stephen Marsh-Smith OBE was a colossal force for good for the environment in Wales.
His sad passing on 8th August after a short illness will, of course, be felt most by his family and friends but the country’s rivers, its natural environment and our own organisation have lost a champion too.
Many of those who knew Stephen have expressed a wish to commemorate him and his many achievements, something that is very much appreciated by his family, friends and colleagues.
To celebrate and show their appreciation for his enormous contribution to rivers and the environment, the Foundation’s trustees have set up this page for donations in his memory. If you would like to join us in celebrating Stephen and help ensure his work continues, please feel free to make a donation too. We have suggested donation amounts but anything you can give would be greatly appreciated.
We hope you agree that this is an appropriate way in which we can honour Stephen’s wish for our two special rivers to be protected well into the future.
